Beautiful old cut large solitaire ring, set in 18ct white gold.

This is an inherited ring and I have had a jeweller check it over.

It is around 1.8 /2ct; it spreads a little bigger but isn’t deep.

The stone is bright, lively and throws off those lovely pastel colour that old cuts do, however it is included and those inclusions are visible without a loop.

There are some carbon spots

I have zoomed in so that you can see there are some nibbles/flea bites to the girdle - this is common in such old diamonds.

The diamond is substantial enough in size that the successful bidder may wish to have them polished out and still have a good sized diamond.

Bezel settings are also a good option.

Old cuts around 2 carat are listed in excess of £10k at reputable antique jewellers such as Cavendish, Friarhouse & Wharfedale antiques.

Price reflects the inclusions and wear and tear commensurate to the age of the ring.
