Here I have for sale is my 2009 BMW R1200RT

I have owned the bike since May 2017.

Sadly my week long touring holdays a distant memory due to family commitments.

The bike has done 89,894 miles.

I have fitted a pair of brand new tyres and it has a new MOT.

11 months MOT remaining.

There were no advisories on the MOT

The bike starts and runs well.

It shifts through all the gears up and down well.

The cruise control, heated grips and heated seats all work as the should.

I have removed the rear tyre pressure sensor because it was difficult to inflate with air. I have fitted a standard 90deg tyre valve insted.

The front wheel still has the tyre pressure sensor fitted and working.

The fuel guage is a little intermitant.

I have replaced the fuel strip once already as this is a common fault with this model (There is loads of info on Google regarding the fuel strip in a 1200RT and GS)

I decided not to waste cash fitting another one, so I just fill her up and reset the trip meter. (Old school)

There is also a fault with the ESA.

I have 2 keys, riders handbook and V5 in my name.

It will also come with a TomTom Rider V2 satnav and the Givi 52L Monokey backbox.

If your are looking for a mint bike, then unfortunately this is not for you.

If you are lookinging for a good price bike thats all ready for touring, then this 'used' and ridden in all weathers conditions may just be the one for you.
