I bought this a few years ago in an auction as part of a joblot,so I do not know its history.

This bubbly glass vase has a bulbous shape with short straight neck.

It is unsigned but in the style of Keith Murray's design 1039 A which included 5 different initial shapes and was described as "sapphire cased bubbly" in his 1938-39 design book.

The vase is very thick walled and heavy with the bubbles variously sized within the pink glass and stands on a thick clear disc foot

which has some very light wear.

There are imperfections within the glass in line with studio art glass.

It could possibly be by Keith Murray, please review the images and make your mind up.

Please see item specifications which forms part of the description.
