Description 2 nice English antique solid sterling silver Albertina fob/pocket watch chains in good condition and dating from around 1890-1900. Lovely quality, with double and triple stranded chain links and with a silver t-bar/hook catch and secure silver swivel/dog catches. Attached on one is an antique silver fob watch. Chains weigh approx 35 grams.
Measurements They measure approx 9.5 inches (242mm) in length, and 8.75 inches (221mm) in length.
Date English antique solid sterling silver typically unmarked, the t-bar has a "925" sterling silver stamp and a London silver import hallmark. Both 100% guaranteed antique silver and date from around 1890 - 1900. The silver fob watch is hallmarked "800" silver, probably French.
Condition Good condition and with secure silver dog catches. The silver tassle fob has lost a couple of silver strands and the pocket watch is currently a non-runner, enamel dial is undamaged. Tiny little historic repair on one strand. Nice genuine antique examples, from a local estate clearance.
