Description A lovely antique 19th Century French solid silver "novelty" multi tool pocket etui by Eloi Pernet in excellent condition and dating from around 1880-1890. Very nice quality, made from a large 1868 silver 5 franc coin, has 3 hinged pull-out steel tools, all still in superb condition with no rusting and they all pull open and spring back nicely into the coin when not in use. A fine example, looks very little used.
Measurements Measures approx 1.5 inches (38mm) diameter and is 4mm deep.
Date Antique French solid silver, stamped with some tiny french silver hallmarks around edge and has the silver makers stamp of Eloi Pernet. 100% guaranteed antique silver and it dates from around 1880 - 1890.
Condition Excellent clean condition with no faults, a lovely undamaged genuine antique example, hard to find in this state, looks little used. All 3 tools in superb condition and all have good strong springs. The silver coin itself is still in great condition and have excellent detail. There are no added personal engraved inscriptions.
