Please read full description and see all pictures before bidding, Thank you!

Beautiful unique design clock is in terrific cosmetic condition for its age. It was sent back from a military tour overseas by a gentleman who is now 95 years old and as evidenced in the pictures it is very well preserved. It appears to be made mostly of wood but honestly not sure about the face it's hard to tell. The only issues of note are as follows…a fleck of missing paint on the back, some age related tarnishing to the brass weights and a slight bend in the door over the “cuckoo” however, none of these issues affect its functionality. Please see all 19 pictures as they are part of the description. I had it running and it appeared to keep time but I did not hook up the weights for the cuckoo part as I don’t have a nail strong enough to hold it with the weights as they are 8 inches long and they weigh 3-1/2 pounds each. I do know the blacksmith’s hammer raises and falls with each bong of the clock on the hour/half hour. The original instructions are included. The insides look very clean and intact but my guess is it could still use a clean and oil. It does come from a smoke free household. It measures approximately 16 inches tall by 12 inches across by 4 inches deep. It weighs over 12 pounds and will be properly wrapped and secured for shipping.
