Totally original promotional posters.

They were only made available in the UK through an in store offer run by Procter & Gamble who were tied into a deal with Paramount Pictures to mount an advertising campaign for the films launch. See original photo of outer Box that held the posters.

I collected these personally when working for a major supermarket chain in 1979. Each poster is 25 x 18 inches and numbered 1, 2, and 3. There were two other posters……Enterprise with crew below, plus ILIA & Willard Decker which were enhanced send away offers to supplement the other three. I know l have these somewhere…..perhaps they will beam up in the future……???

These posters are 44 years old in near mint condition which is surprising for their age. They have been stored away from sunlight in a stable environment ( no garage or loft scenarios that are detrimental to posters and records etc. ) Most important they have been stored flat in their individual waterproof plastic covers with just faint signs of transportation. Will be sent in strong tube. Please see photos of condition.

I am listing in the original 3 piece collection offered in supermarkets in 1979. They will be sent rolled in 3 inch reinforced tubes to protect the condition as it would be a mistake to fold these up.

There has been much speculation about the origins of these posters and l can finally lay to rest the real source of these gems. A soap manufacturer and a motion picture company.
