Antique Insulator "AM TEL & TEL CO; no other marks.  Green, from North West Iowa.  

This is a pole fresh insulator - well, pole fresh 60 years ago. From 1959 to 1968 the local telephone company was upgrading their lines.  The line managing told us kids we could pickup as many as we wanted.  He also offered up pole for a $1.00 each - all we could carry.  My folks were not so happy with the poles I brought home.  I collected from the time I was 11 until I was 22 year old, then got busy with life.

Condition: Used. Chip on bottom and a couple of flea bites - see pictures.
