Superb Waltham Vanguard, 23 Jewels 16s vintage USA Railways pocket watch, in very nice condition. Recent service, working well and keeping good time. Challenge gold filled case. Decorated movement. From 1910.

Movement:  Waltham Vanguard model 1908, 16S, 23 Jewels, Adjusted in 5 positions,  Open Face, Breguet hairspring. Lever set, Ohlson regulator. Railroad Grade. Serial number points to 1910.
Recently serviced, working very well.

Dial:  white ceramic dial in nice condition. Small hairline between 7 & 8 and below 6. Black Arabic hour markers. Blued paddle steel hands.

Case: Challenge, gold filled, 48,4mm excluding pendant & crown, good vintage condition with some small surface scratches and some loss of plating on the back. Screw-down front & back.
Mineral glass in excellent condition.
