An incredibly rare 1983 Sinclair FM Radiowatch.

A new strap has been fitted with embedded power feed and antenna.  I had modified and stitched it to be approximately the same as the original plastic/rubber strap, not an easy job!  This makes the watch one of the three or four in the world that can be worn.  If you need a new strap for yours, I can create a tailored listing.

The module is original, the radio just about tunes, the alarm works, and the LCD is not leaky.

The casing is in great condition, the control wheels work well and the neoprene bellows between each section are perfect.  The hinges are tight and undamaged.  The original display case and instruction sheet are included.

The tuning is finicky and works if you do it slowly.

Planet Sinclair say:

'So long as you stand with your arm in the air you could listen to Radio 1 for at least 30 seconds before you got tired.  The battery was hidden in the clasp presumably in an attempt to balance out the considerable weight of the watch'.

Yet the watch seems to receive well and has a considerable hefty weight of around 50g.  I think PS is run by CBM fans.
