The victim is the actor playing Polonius, who is stabbed to death on stage by the actor playing Hamlet, who claims it was an accident. But was it really ? And who had a motive to kill the unpopular Polonius ?
It is one of the novels by Hector Hawton, who was a British writer and editor of crime fiction and philosophy.
He wrote several books featuring Inspector Simon Petrella of Scotland Yard.
