This volume also marks the first publication of the celebrated poem "Darkness" and an early printing of "Prometheus" (first published in July of 1816). An unusually nice copy in original condition, contains the title poem and 9 others.
Still considered among the greatest of English poets, Lord Byron was, along with Percy and Mary Shelley, a leading figure of the Romantic Movement.
