Forsale is a Diamond CP VU8 8 Band vertical antenna.

I purchased this as a secondary antenna mainly to give me 80M and 15M which I didn't have on my current antenna.
Assembling this in the garden, I mounted it on 1.5Mtr mast, set the elements whips as per the manufactures starting point. Then indivdually tuned each whip elements on the all the bands that are adjustable, so they all fall into the ham bands using my antenna analyser.

I then marked with a red pen where I found resonance and black mark to show manufactures starting point. So it makes it easier for the buying to get set up on the air quicker. Slight adjustments will need to be made at your location and also if mounted higher up but I have provided a much better starting point. As you can imagine the bandwidth is quiet narrow but most internal ATU's should give you full band coverage (CW/SSB).

The antenna is really well made and of high quaility. Initial tests mounted in the garden where good for compact antenna but it didn't get to put it up in my final location as I'm not able to lift the antenna and mast into the location on ladders I wanted due to health issues. Please see my other listing for other HF antennas I've decided to part with.

Virtually unused and comes with everything you would expect if you were to buy new. Basically unpack, check all items where there and tuned elements so was out of the packing for a day and then packed nearly away.

These are great for people who have limited space in the garden or have no garden at all and able to mount on the side of the house. The radials can be spread out 360 degree's or 180 degree pattern. Yes a muiltband antenna this short will be a compromise but if your restricted to one antenna and want as many bands as you can including VHF/UHF don't think you can go wrong.

!!!Please note I'm a private seller and don't sit on ebay all day. I always try and answer messages ASAP and ship items within a few days of payment being received at my end. I do NOT provide any warranty and describe the item as I have found it. If defects are found I will include these details but not being the manufacture I can only best describe what I have found as an end user!!!

I've included some manufature spec below.

80-40-20-15-10-6-2m-70cm vertical 200W SSB (HF) 150W FM (6/2/70) 2.7m long

This is a compact vertical antenna that stand slightly less than 3m high. It will handle 100 Watts with ease. It covers all HF bands (80m - 10m - but not WARC) plus 6m, 2m and 70cms. It requires no separate radials. It is supplied with short rigid radials and the antenna is designed to be clamped to a mast - hardware included. The antenna should be mounted no lower than 1.5m above the ground, but may be mounted at any height above this. It is easy to tune and each band can be adjusted to a particular frequency. The feed is 50 Ohm and the antenna is fitted with an SO-239 socket. The antenna is fully weatherproofed and beautifully engineered. It is also ideal for portable work
