Two 1937 shakedown cruise covers for the submarine USS Pollock. The covers have a cancellation of July 20, 1937,  Aruba D. W. I. (Dutch West Indies). The stamp on one of the covers is the 3 cent purple Navy stamp in the Army-Navy issue (SC# 792). This cover is handwritten addressed to the Bronx, NY., with a back stamp of Alex Hesse, Jr. The stamp on the other cover Is the green 12 1/2 cent Curacao Queen Wilhelmina stamp (SC#150; SG# 162). This cover is type addressed to Blue Point, New York.  Both sides of both covers the buyer will receive are shown in the photos.
