For sale here is a VINTAGE HOOVER VACCUUM, MODEL 300.   Approx. 90 years old!  Pre-owned, item as been restored and works great!  Details:

  • It has been repainted. 
  • The motor has been taken apart and cleaned. 
  • Old grease has been removed from the bottom bearings and replaced with the same grease Hoover uses.  The top bearing was replaced and oiled so the motor runs very smooth. 
  • The aluminum head has ben polished to a shine!
  • The rubber bumper stripping was removed, cleaned, polished and sealed.  
  • The roll brush bearings were cleaned and packed with new grease. 
  • The brush strips are new with original horse hair, not plastic ones as used today.
  • The cord has been replaced (rubber coated like the original) and is soft and flexible with no cracks or breaks.
  • The bag is new generic made of 100% cotton like the original with a cotton flannel inner liner to filter out finer dust  An extra cloth bag is also included.  Bags are not perfect.
  • Belt and headlight have bee replaced.
  • The removable handle has no issues.  
  • Includes a manual and tag we believe to be original.

All Pick Ups (regardless of state buyer is coming from) and shipments to locations within the state of IL will be charged Illinois Sales Tax.  Pick-ups may also be charged a handling charge at the time of checkout .  Preferred payment is paypal ON-LINE PRIOR TO PICK-UP; however, if your feedback is under 50, you will be required to pay CASH at pick-up.  Items must be picked up within 7 days of end of auction with a scheduled time.

Payment must be received within 3 days of the close of auction. If payment isn't received within 3 days, a Non-Paying Bidder alert will automatically be filed with eBay as a reminder and the auction may be revoked if not paid shortly thereafter.  This includes paypal e-check payments that have not cleared.
