Here we have a fantastic, rare, antique trunk

This is a large, heavy trunk with an inner chain

Cleaned thoroughly & waxed

I have left an old paper inside from 1977

The trunk has weathered nicely over the years, but I have waxed it to freshen it up

Perfect for a coffee table with lots of storage space

Try not to bang the lid down tight as you might struggle to release it. It has what looks like shoe marks on the top. We sanded it to try & remove them, but the outline is there.

Dimensions; 55 cms width (taken from the widest part, above the lock)

The lock measures 3.5 inch x 2 inch height x 3/4 inch depth

This trunk is real antique & as such, it has a lot of age related wear, such as scuffing/scratching etc, fading, marks, patina,  to the finish. Lots of wear. The interior has worn with age & use.  It just shows the life & history of the trunk. This is a fantastic item. Please accept that this is a used trunk, in used condition.
