Original modern art - Still life by Desmond Harmswoth - Oil painting

This is a charming painting by the artist Desmond Harmsworth, father of the artist Margaret Harmsworth. This painting depicts a still life study of a variety of objects on a table top. The painting is executed in oils on canvas and measures 29x20 inches and comes unframed. It is signed and dated 1947 and the condition is in line with its age, as you can see there are some scuffs mainly around the bottom section but this adds to its shabby nature which is popular with designers. In my opinion this work sits well on the wall without a frame.
