This is a 1980 Classic Ford Escort MK2 1.3L, 4 door in terracotta.

The car was originally bought brand new at a local Cheshire Ford garage.

The car is in excellent, all round, condition and I have always parked it in my garage.

It has had some light modifications such as:

6 x 13 RS type wheels with good tyres

Genuine Ford rear spoiler

Chrome front half bumpers

Sport dash, steering wheel and centre console with radio in matching colour

Front and rear seats have been professionally re-upholstered in brown cloth material, similar to RS 2000. The door cards are all in excellent condition.

The engine runs and sounds well and is fitted with a brand new 2" Sportex manifold and exhaust system. 

It has had new front brake discs, pads and hoses. 

The body is in good all round condition with only very small blemishes here and there and a very small dent on the N/S/F door (where something leaned against it) but it is not really noticeable. 

Both inner wings, heater bowl and interior of the boot are in perfect condition. 

The chassis and underneath the car is in excellent condition.

The car has been fun to drive and has been shown in several local classic car shows. 

With regret, I am selling the car due to moving house.
