RARE DUTCHMAN'S PIPE VINE (Aristolochia grandiflora)

--- 10+ Fresh Seeds Collected in spring of 2024 ---

DUTCHMAN'S PIPE VINE --- (Aristolochia grandiflora) This is a rare exotic huge flower. The huge flower in my photo measured 23-1/2 inches from the

top of the flower to the end of the "tail". (See photo below) This is the largest flowering of the Aristolochia varieties as far as I know. It blooms from late

summer to late fall. This is a perennial vine in Zone 10 and protected areas of Zone 9. It can be grown well in Zone 9 with some protection during frost

light freezes. It needs to be grown on some sort of support like a fence or trellis. It will vine up a tree. Some years it goes to about 25 feet in my oak tree.

It has dark green heart shaped leaves. This plant is native to Central America.

These seeds were collected in the early spring of 2024.

This vine thrives in full sun or partial shade with little or no care. It will grow in most any type of soil.  In frost free areas it grows continuously. In colder

areas it can be container grown.

Seeds are very limited this year.

I ship the seeds in an insert in an envelope by First Class Mail.  I pay for shipping to the US.

Sorry no shipping to Japan and Australia as they don’t allow seed imports.
