An attractive 19th century pierced silver plated bottle coaster by James Dixon c.1880.

It has a pierced body and one decorative handle.

Turned wooden interior and the underside of the stepped base is felted.

Full marks for James Dixon on the base below the handle.

It stands 8cm tall x 7.7cm internal diameter; 10.5cm to the top of the handle.

In good condition with any wear commensurate with age;

no copper bleeding; the green felt material on the base is worn.
