Calrec Soundfield Mark V Surround Sound Microphone, Decoder, Cable & Tripod

A very rare opportunity to buy a Soundfield Mark V Single-Point Surround Sound Microphone.  The Soundfield system allows you to record the full ambisonic W, X, Y & Z audio image and also use decoder unit to steer and focus the directional properties of the microphone head to create a stereo mix-down.

This microphone has been owned from new and has been very carefully looked-after and was totally rebuilt by Soundfield and has only been used a couple of times since.

-  Soundfield Tetrahedral Microphone Head, comprising of an array of  large diaphagm capsules

-  50 meter multi-core cable on metal drum which connects the microphone head to decoder unit

-  Soundfield Mark V rack decoder, allowing full mix/adjustment of polar pattern, compass direction and angle

-  Ambisonic W, X, Y, & Z B-format Outputs  - allowing all the microphone signals to be recorded for full surround capture

-  Ambisonic W, X, Y & Z B-format Inputs - playback of the recorded B-format can be re-mixed post event/in post-production
