It’s so wonderful to find these antique Burson socks in their original box…even better if it’s got the note inside.

I called these size small based on a smaller sized one in an old listing that they called theirs XS. Box is in great all original condition. The card paper sock shaped inserts came with…but, I have no idea if they’re original(cause you’d have to fold them to get them in the box).

Socks have tiny holes. Rely on my many photos. There looks to be a tiny repair where the white meets black. Top edge seems shorter on one and they curl…more so on the untrimmed one.

I’d looked up some info, years ago. Burson and a parter started the first knitting machine sock company. They made socks for the whole family. The doll socks was an extra endeavor.

Box is 3 1/4”x 1 3/4”.

Socks are 4 1/2-5 inches long.

These socks look to fit the 16” French/German fashion dolls. I never tried them on a doll.

A great piece of doll and American history.
