This auction is for a 2006 P & D two roll set of "Return to Monticello" Westward Journey Nickels in an Unopened, U.S. Mint issued Sealed Box (2X5).  This box contains 2 rolls - one 40 coin Denver Mint roll & one 40 coin Philadelphia Mint roll each in their original U.S. Mint wrappers.

This fifth and final issue highlights the return of the Lewis & Clark expedition and the end of the Westward Journey Nickel series.  It also heralds the resumption of the "standard" Jefferson Nickel series.  The obverse features a new, unique forward-facing portrait of Jefferson based on an 1800 Rembrandt Peale painting.  The reverse once again features Jefferson's Monticello home.  The mint upgraded this design for the resumption of the Jefferson Nickel series.  This design will never be minted again, so you'll want to add these unique rolls to your collection now.

The Unopened Mint Box in the photo is the one you will receive.  All other photos are stock photos.
