Disneyland Line
I'm listing an enormous collection of rare cast member newsletters from Disney, the long-published Disneyland Line newsletter for cast members. I'll be listing most of them in batches of 10 and in chronological order each evening as time permits, so please check back each evening to see new ones. It's a great way to add large batches to your collection!
These publications are treasure troves of historical dates, facts, figures, faces, places, and other behind-the-scenes details which were sometimes not shared with the public. Because they were intended for cast members, you'll learn a ton about Disneyland over time.
This auction is for 7 issues from September-November 1979. Their contents include:
- September 6, 1979: Disneyland Music Festival program with a Carousel of Progress/America Sings building photo
- September 27, 1979: Coke Corner cover feature story; WED/MAPO reorganizes ahead of EPCOT Center construction picking up steam
- October 11, 1979: 25 years of Disneyland parade photo spread; facts about where Disneyland's construction was 25 years earlier
- October 18, 1979: Disneyland's sign department with rare photos behind the scenes
- November 1, 1979: Distinguished Service Awards Banquet with great lists of employees who had been there 25 and 20 years; EPCOT Center groundbreaking story with photos from Florida
