A VERY GOOD VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER THREE PIECE TEASET.


The Set comprises- a Teapot,  a Sugar Basin and a Milk Jug.


The Set weighs 858 grams. (approx 27.7 ozt.).


The Teapot stands 12.5cm tall and measures 27cm from handle to spout.   The Sugar Bowl measures 15cm across the handles and the Milk Jug is 8cm tall.


The boat shaped Teapot has an ebony handle and finial.  All items have half fluted decoration and gadrooned rims.


Each piece is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1898.  Maker's mark of Thomas Hayes.


All in very good and clean condition. The silver is undamaged  - no bumps or bruises.   The Teapot handle is firm and the pins are in place.  The hinge is good and the lid closes flat.  Clean interior.  A high quality Set in remarkably good condition.
