I have cherished these classic pre-1999 Ray-Ban Bausch & Lomb Aviators - they have only been worn by me so they are in very good used condition, with no scratches on the lenses or damage to the frames. The high quality hinges function well.
The metal frame is named "black chrome" and is clean and highly finished. "B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A." is inscribed on the top surface of the double nose bridge; B&L denotes the original company owner, Bausch & Lomb, which dates the sunglasses to 1999 or earlier. The underside of the nose bridge is inscribed with the code "B&L RAY-BAN 58[]14", denoting the size of the sunglasses. The transparent nose pads are a pale peach colour and have the BL maker's logo embossed into their centre.
Each grey/green G15 lens gives 100% UV protection and is engraved with a very small BL logo close to the hinge. The right lens has the "Ray-Ban" logo written in crisp white on the top outside edge.
These fantastic vintage Aviators are presented in a genuine Ray-Ban hard case (not usually paired with this style of Ray-Ban), together with a black Ray-Ban soft polishing cloth.
