Some marks to wood commensurate with age and wear - if you wanted into be pristine then you could touch up the back with paint or thick black marker. We didn't do this as we wanted the chair to be original so OK with signs of past usage and love!
Only selling as we have downsized and regretfully have to get rid of some of our fabulous treasures
