for auction is a small machinist swivel, locking base work hold vise.  The vise jaws measure 1 1/2'' wide. The maximum opening is  2 5/16'' The vise slides in place  In the user made pedestal swivel base. There is a groove milled in the side of the vise that rides on a keyway rib on the top of the pedestal base. ( see pictures 17,18,19,20,21 ) On the other side of the pedestal base, is a thumb screw & pressure locking plate. ( see pictures 14,15,16)   The pressure  allows the vise to be clamped  off center.  The mount base can rotate 360 and lock in place by turning/tightening the screw ( see picture 22)  The vise is in very good used condition There is no over drilling and no user damage.  Every thing operates great. I believe this is user made, patterned after an antique Yankee North brother vise and base of a similar design.  The tool will need additional cleaning. and some lubrication.  Please see all pictures for condition.
