Beautiful, large Norwegian Rosemaling bowl with dark green background; scrolls and flowers of browns, blues and greens.  Decorated around the edge but the back is plain green. I think this is in what is called the 'Telemark' style.

This bowl is signed "Torbjorg" (Torbjørg) - I think!!  Took me some time to decipher but this came up as a Norwegian name so I think it is correct. Please see the closeup pic and decide for yourself!

Large bowl - measures 10-7/8" diameter and 3.5" deep.  Rich dark green with earth colored hand painted scrolls and flowers - red-browns, blues, greens and cream outlines.

The interior is in excellent condition no damage and very little wear, if any. The plain green exterior does have some scratches as shown in the photos. No cracks or chips to the wood.

A gorgeous rosemaling piece to add to your collection!  Use it daily or display it with your collection.  An outstanding piece from a local estate.  It will be packed to arrive safely.
