From a Connecticut Auction comes this RARE 1933 THE CONTINENTAL BEACON AUTOMOBILE BROCHURE. This complex 6 1/2 x 9 1/2” multi-layer brochure advertises the Beacon, “A Fine Full Size Car.” Available as the Beacon, a five-passenger, four-door sedan, the Commercial coupe, a longer five-passenger, two-door sedan and a two-passenger roadster. Also enclosed with the brochure is a separate price card showing the prices ranging from $355 for the 2 passenger roadster to $395 for the 5 passenger 4-door sedan. Founded in 1905, Continental Motors was primarily a manufacturer of engines but made automobiles during 1932 and 1933. The company continued in business for many years as an engine maker after it stopped making cars. As shown, this is complete and in excellent near-mint condition with no tears or other defects that I note.

I have multiple other antique automobile and Harley-Davidson ephemera collectibles so please stay tuned to my listings both for those as well as what I hope is an interesting and eclectic selection of other vintage and antique items. If you are the winner of any of my auctions and are also interested in others, I'm happy to provide combined shipping but cannot do so if you pay me before your subsequent item auctions end. Ebay requires that I send items within 24 hours of being paid so ignore their invoice and wait until I invoice you which I usually do on a weekly basis for multiple item purchasers.
