Vintage EBERHARD FABER “MICROTOMIC
614” Mechanical Drafting Pencil NOS Made in the USA during the 1950’s. Excellent, unused, example of this near cult
status 2 mm drafting pencil. Full
aluminum body without any stray marks or initials and a nice clear engraved
imprint. Operates by a push button activated
spring clutch. It features a lead degree
indicator in the tail (color coded as part of a
four color set), and a long ribbed grip at the nose. If you’re mechanically inclined, the pencil
is made up of about 10 pieces (I did count them), which is probably why it
didn’t stay in production that long. But
long enough to make this beauty for you…..
