This 2022 Cook Islands $25 7 Summits Mt. Vinson 5oz Silver coin is graded a perfect MS70 by NGC. The mintage of this coin is only 777 world wide and the mint has already sold out.

This is the 7th and final release in the seven summit series featuring Mt. Vinson. With a birds eye that provides the highest peak of the mountain at an elevation of 16,050 feet, Mount Vinson is the highest peak in Antarctica. It was first climbed in 1966 by an American team led by Nicholas Clinch, and since then over 1,400 climbers have attempted to reach the top.

The obverse features a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and in inscriptions “ELIZABETH II”, “COOK ISLANDS”, “25 DOLLARS”.

The reverse features MT. Vinson in a refined coloring that shows an aerial view of the mountain, and inscriptions “Mt. VINSON: - 4892m - Sentinel Range, Antarctica”, and “The 7 SUMMITS”.
