We are offering 2 guide books of travel in the Mediterranean to show how the world has changed in the past 60 years.

The first is is a twice-signed first edition of  Sheridan Garth's guide  to European and Middle Eastern travel in the years directly after World War II. It gives a very different perspective of life as an American tourist visiting the Mediterranean at a time of major change in that part of the world. 

It is a highly collectible hardcover minus the original 1952 dust jacket.  The book is in very good, almost unread condition. Hinges are strong, and the text block is firm. Book has 377 pages. 

The book is signed both by the author, Sheridan Garth and prologue writer, James Kirk on the front endpaper.

Rick Steves Mediterranean guide

The second book in this Ebay sale is Rick Steves Mediterranean Cruise Ports, his classic softbound guide to what to see and how to see it when visiting the key hot spots in Europe and the Middle East. His easy-to-read guide has 1,274 pages and copious maps (color and black and white) as well as photographs of everything to see while on tour. The book is the third edition published in 2014 and is brand new, with no signs of use.
