Wonderful antique picture button of a lady/woman holding an umbrella. Represented as a pictorial of Fanny Davenport with Parasol and Apple, named for a supposed likeness to the English actress, active in the late 19th century (1870-1898). Pierced brass, mounted over a silvered background. Brass presentation of an 1800s black glass picture button.
