Vintage Navystar Cyma Cymaflex wristwatch in full working order, with a mechanical (hand wind) Swiss movement favoured by watch connoisseurs. Key features include a gold plated bezel, hands and central second hand sweep, champagne dial with baton idexes, date aperture at 3 o'clock and stainless steel (polished) scewback casing. The two-piece leather back strap (with gold plate buckle) looks to be the original though, given the age of the watch, I cannot be 100% certain of this.

The Navystar range was introduced in the 1950's and promoted as 'a rugged waterproof watch in a slim case'. The watches contained over 20 patented innovations that allowed them to perform under particularly demanding circumstances. As such, there is some minimal - age related - light sctratches to the crystal and caseback (could be polished out quite easily) and a very tiny dent (pinhead size only) to the bezel at 9 o'clock, but these flaws are very minor and to be expected in a watch of this age.

An ideal watch for the collector.
