Vintage Kaypro 4 Portable Computer With Keyboard - Powers on only, starts smoking a little after first try, then runs but does not display or boot, so sold for parts/repair only. Ok cosmetic condition, case is missing top screws (possible repair attempt has been made?), keyboard is nice but missing one key, includes keyboard cable, sold as pictured and as-is.

Important update From a ebay member:

This machine is a K4 shell and keyboard but the rest of the case and internals are a Kaypro II. First hint is that all K4s have a model number and this one does not. Second the serial number is too early for a K4. Third the monitor ROM is 81-149 which is only for the KII machines.
