Description A fabulous large English/Irish antique solid sterling silver presentation/prize "rowing" medal for the "Dublin University Boat Club Regatta" in superb clean original condition and dating from around 1908. Beautiful quality medal and a good size, still housed in its original fitted velvet-lined case and is decorated with a fine detailed portrait of Queen Elizabeth 1st. The reverse is engraved with the prize winners and has the year date 1908. Weighs a heavy approx 56 grams, looks to have rarely been out of its box.  

Measurements Measures approx 2 inches (50mm) in diameter x 4mm deep.

Date English/Irish antique solid sterling silver, typically unmarked, 100% guaranteed antique silver and dates from around 1908. The fitted case is stamped "West & Son, Dublin, The Kings Jeweller".

Condition Superb original condition with no faults at all; lovely quality and a nice heavy weight and the original fitted case is also in excellent clean condition. Great silver medal, one of 4 matching medals I am currently listing.
