On offer is Natural Fancy Orangy Yellow Diamond. Its weight is 0.26 carat, the cut is Oval modified brilliant and is sealed with an IGI certification. The report number is 407961589. This Diamond was directly sourced from a German Diamond whole seller. I have been researching the diamond market for the last 6 months and got a link to that seller. Due to the current extreme circumstances sellers have a lot of unsold stock and have liquidity issues. So, I managed to get this diamond for a very reasonable price, giving that seller the much needed liquidity and also getting my foot into that market. They source diamonds from Africa and from countries with NO civil conflict and that comply with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). But since that is NOT verified by a laboratory , I stated unknown as for their origin. I know that GIA is the "gold standard" in the gemstone market but since they stopped sealing diamonds , I went for IGI certified diamonds.
I have uploaded the photos of the diamond provided to me before sealing it and also after that. I have uploaded photos of the diamond whilst in my possession to prove it is the same diamond. The characteristics of the diamond can be seen in the report.
This is an ideal diamond for investment but borderline acceptable for mounting it on a ring. If you are on a very tight budget but looking to get a diamond with this highly sought after colour then this might be the one. A carat diamond of these specs will most probably cost you about 6k GBP or more... Brand new so never used before. Two independent diamond appraisers in Antwerp (big hub in the business) have given me a retail value (which includes markup of course) of 1200 - 1330 Euros.
