Native to South Africa, Polygala myrtifolia 'Grandiflora' is a dense evergreen shrub with stunning rich cerise/purple flowers throughout most of the year.
A parent plant to the popular Polygala x dalmaisiana, Polygala myrtifolia "Grandiflora" is as the name suggests, a bigger plant with larger flowers and brighter foliage.
Almost pea like pretty, purple flowers with a white brush emerging from the central folded petals are produced in clusters throughout the year.
A very versatile plant which is ideal for any patio or conservatory, as a focal point in the garden, used as a screen/hedging plant or as a container grown specimen, standard plant.

Position : Prefers full sun/partial shade
Soil : Prefers moisture retentive, well-drained soil, but will tolerate most soils.
Flowers : Purple flowers with a white brush emerging from the central folded petals
Hardiness : Has survived temperatures of up to -5 degrees with us on the nursery
The plant that you will receive will be a healthy, well-established P9 plant of approx 10 - 12 inches in height. It will be packaged, within it's pot, to a very high standard to ensure it's safe arrival to yourself.
