This listing is for a freshly cut pad of Purple Prickly Pear -- Santa Rita.  This cactus ranges from green to blue to deep purple during the year.  In my opinion this is the most gorgeous of all the prickly pear cactus family.  They are a little slower growing than the giant green prickly pear.  The pictures are of the actual plants we will take the cuttings from.  We will try to give you a medium to large sized mature pad.  Sometimes we will upgrade you to a rooted one if the mother plants are currently sprouting new pads. These pads are very easy to root.  Just put in some cactus soil and only water when completely dry.
