This is a sweet statue of St. Anthony! It's rare to see him with a bread basket. The devotion of St. Anthony's bread is a long-time devotion from Italy where monatery donations to feed the poor are made in honor of St. Anthony as a token of devotion to him.

This statue measures approximately 7.2 inches tall. It was possibly repainted at one time in its life. There is some soiling due to age to his base, face, hand, etc., so please take a look at all the photos. There seems to be a little area where the back of his neck meets his habit hood that looks like it has a thin ribbon of glue on it. This makes me wonder if his head was repaired at one point.
