This vintage/retro style lamp is a perfect fit for an antique or eclectic motif. The metal silver or nickel color lamp shade is connected to a moveable (articulating) stem and stays exactly where it is pointed. The base has a tiny drawer, an open compartment, a place for paper clips, a small Post-It notepad (not included, available at Staples), and a series of metal rings where you can put postal mail, bills, or other papers as a reminder.
The unit plugs into standard electrical power and uses a standard "Medium Base" bulb, either incandescent or modern LED. There is a switch on the top of the cone to turn the light on and off.
