Description A handsome heavy English antique solid sterling silver Albert pocket watch chain in good condition and with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1910. Very nice quality with chunky graduating silver curb chain links and with a silver t-bar and a secure silver swivel/dog catch. Attached is a lovely antique Art Deco solid silver vesta/match case with attractive "sun ray" decoration and it weighs a heavy approx 86 grams (total).

Measurements Measures approx 14.1 inches (360mm) in length with a further 1.75 inches on the fob chain. 

Date English antique solid sterling silver with English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1910, (date letter "l") on the t-bar; the swivel/dog catch is hallmarked Birmingham 1901, (date letter "b"). There are rubbed lion passant silver marks on the chain links and the silversmiths initials on the t-bar are "H.P" (Henry Pope - 1887 - 1921). The attached silver vesta case is hallmarked Chester 1907, (date letter "G"). 

Condition Good condition with no splits or repairs and with just normal wear on the chain links, a very nice genuine antique example. The silver swivel/dog catch still works perfectly and opens and closes securely and has a good spring; the attached silver vesta case is also in good condition and has lovely uncommon stylised Art Deco decoration. Beautiful heavy silver pocket watch chain, from a local estate.
