For sale is a turret condenser for the Axioskop series of microscopes from Carl Zeiss. This condenser features 5 positions with 2 for Brighfield/DIC and 3 phase annuli. This condenser is complete with phase annuli for Ph1, Ph2, and Ph3 (also useful for darkfield). It is also fitted with DIC prisms - 44 52 73 for lenses with a NA between 0.3-0.4 and 44 52 74 for lenses with a NA between 0.5-1.4. Rounding out the condenser is a strain-free 0.9 NA top lens.
One DIC prism is in perfect condition and the other (44 52 74) has some delamination at the periphery. I have not noted any loss of contrast when using this prism. The top lens is in excellent condition, despite the marks on the housing. The flip out front lens is smooth and easy, as it the rotation of the turret.
