This 1988 vintage George Aldrich Custom ABC Fox 35 Stunt 35th Anniversary control line model airplane engine is in box and in excellent shape.  All head fins present, lug holes circular, front bearing tight, and compression strong. Engine is very clean, and appears to have low time.

Take a close look at the pictures: the second one shows "GMA Custom" in cursive on the side. The third shows "GMA ABC" on the lug, bypass side. The fourth has the name of the customer on the lug, exhaust side, but I cannot make it out.  The fifth shows his name in block letters on the box side. The ninth one even retains the name of the Fox inspector at Fort Smith, on a small tag next to the thrust washer.

Of course, George Aldrich is best known as the designer of the Nobler stunt ship, and also the profile Flite Streak. He also won Stunt at the Nats twice. However, many control liners are unaware that he did engine modifications on various makes later in life.

Yes, this is a true ABC motor (aluminum piston in a chromed brass sleeve). It also comes with muffler, paperwork, and decals.

For all of you Fox collectors, this is a scarce opportunity to add to your Fox collection (perhaps you specialize in all of the Anniversary editions). It should be considered a cornerstone acquisition of special Stunt motors, and especially Fox. Or better yet, fly this GMA special on a... Nobler. Or a Flite Streak.
