Suggested instructions for use of cerium oxide:
(1) Supplies needed:
1. Cerium oxide
2. Water (someone recommends distilled water)
3. Polishing wheel
4. Electric drill
5. Small plastic bucket (pint or quart size)
6.Spray bottle
(2) Direction:
1. Thoroughly clean the area where you will be working. Whether there is dirt or dirt
Glass, because once you start polishing, this may cause additional scratches.
2. Prepare two small plastic buckets; quart or pint sized containers work well. Fill it half with water.
3. Put the polishing wheel in the water; let it become completely wet, but do not drip.
4. Put some cerium oxide in an empty bath and add enough water to make a slurry (a thin paste-like mixture).
5. Install the moistened polishing wheel on the electric drill, and then immerse it in the grinding fluid.
6. Put the polishing wheel on your work area, if it is close to scratches, please use a small felt wheel
A corner of the window; keep the wheels moving up and down and in a circular motion. Of course the slurry will not dry out, which will cause your glass to overheat and crack. If your mud becomes dry, you can spray it with a spray bottle filled with water.
