Here on offer is a rare antique George V & Queen Mary Coronation medal, struck by the makers of Select Cocoa, dating to 1911.

This medal has a gilt metal body featuring a cameo style portrait of George and Mary, the legend reads:

 KING GEORGE V     QUEEN MARY  

The back features an illustration in relief of the Imperial State Crown and floral symbols of the United Kingdom. The edge has the legend:

STRUCK BY THE MAKERS OF SELECT COCOA

The centre has the following script:

TO COMMEMORATE

THE CORONATION OF

H.M. KING GEORGE V

AND H.M. QUEEN MARY

1911

The medal is being offered in good antique condition. It measures about 3.4cm in diameter.

A great addition for a collector.
