This is a RARE 16mm KODAK ORIGINAL print of “SUNSET ON THE DESERT”, a 1942 Republic release, starring ROY ROGERS and GABBY HAYES. This better-than-average ROY ROGERS WESTERN features ROY and THE SONS OF THE PIONEERS performing songs, as well as some nicely staged action and stunts. Print is in nice shape, with excellent black and white picture and sound quality, and no vinegar. This is the FEATURE FILM, and a top ROY ROGERS 1940’s collectible.
