Lot of 10 antique watercolour paint cakes by T J Morris. Circa 1828-1838. 

The cakes are in various states, from unused, to broken as shown in the photos.

They are marked 'T J Morris' with 'Manufactured in Ordinary to Her Majesty' written 

on them which dates them from 1828-1838. These are a rare and unusual maker 

of watercolour cakes to find. The colours include Vermillion,Indian Red, 

Chrome Yellow. Royal Smalts, ? Blue, and one which is illegible.
