Charming miniature Victorian painting of Mr Punch and Toby dog

This charming little original watercolour painting on card measures 55 mm by 55 mm and

 dates to 1875. It is a charming image and is in very good condition with no damage.

Other paintings from the game can be seen in the last photo. This listing is for the painting

of Mr Punch and Toby dog only.

This picture came with a collection of miniature paintings and pen and ink drawings which were 

part of a Victorian parlour game called 'What Are You Like' consisting of 8 blank squares with 

titles such 'Favourite Character' 'Proverb or Saying' 'What you Most Want' etc with the idea

That a family member would fill in their own version of the title. Some of the sheets were dated

1875 and had photos of the family artist at the top of the sheet which is how I am able to date

them. All of them are original paintings or ink drawings from the same parlour game.
